VZF had the privilege to participate in the annual AOH Polar Plunge for Catholic Education.  The event was held in Long Branch, NJ on 1/18/17 with dozens of Catholic Schools from all over the state participating.  Despite the absolutely frigid temperatures, the atmosphere was very festive as we all gathered to celebrate Catholic education.

Congratulations to our own Marty Hicks for winning the first ever Victor Zando Foundation MVP award (Most Valuable Plunger).  Marty flew up to New Jersey from Florida in a snow storm, plunged into the icy Atlantic and took a 6 a.m. flight back to Florida the next morning.  Great job, Marty!

We will be participating in this wonderful event again next year, so if you missed this one, be sure to mark your calendars for 2018.
